He weighed 162 kilograms and was always hungry. Snacking after each meal and several times per night was a usual habit. He never asked himself why this was happening and how to fix it. Dorian just wanted to eat.
Where does extra body weight come from?
Our bodies require a certain weight to operate efficiently and maintain overall health. When becoming overweight frequently culminates in the accumulation of excess fat in various bodily regions, potentially leading to a myriad of health complications. Let’s talk about sugar. Sugar is a vital carbohydrate that our bodies depend on for energy. However, it’s essential to recognise the difference between natural sugars and added sugars. Natural sugars, found in nourishing foods like fruits and vegetables, provide vital nutrients and can be enjoyed in moderation. In contrast, added sugars are derived from plants like sugar cane and are often incorporated into processed foods by manufacturers, leading to excessive calorie intake without nutritional benefits. We can significantly enhance our health and well-being by eliminating our consumption of added sugars and opting for whole, unprocessed foods. Making this adjustment is a decisive step towards a healthier lifestyle.
